The Scott Achievers 4-H Club is a co-ed club for children grades 3-12, with approximately 60 active members. We meet once a month and hold our meetings on the north side of Evansville. We are a youth-centered club that adheres to Robert's Rules of Order Newly Revised for parliamentary procedures. The members elect the officers and jr. officers to lead our meetings. Currently we have 8 adult leaders to assist them.
Our club focuses on 6 completion requirements:
1) Every member should attempt to attend at least 1/2 of the meetings.
2) Every member should participate in at least 1 club community service project.
3) Every member should participate in at least 1 club fundraiser.
4) Every member should give a demonstration.
5) Every member should exhibit at least 1 project to the county fair in July.
6) Every member must pay $10 dues to the Club.
When a member completes the requirements, they are invited to attend a completion party held in August. All members receive participation pins.
